OUR HOSTS
SuChin Pak
SuChin Pak hosts LX.TV’s original interview series, "DRINKS W/LX."
SuChin started hosting her first TV show when she was just 16, for a local San Francisco ABC affiliate. During college, she became one of the hosts of the national PBS science show, "Newton's Apple." She moved to New York City in 2000 to host a live, 2-hour talk show called "Trackers" for the then newly launched network, Oxygen. In 2001, she joined the MTV News team as a correspondent. From hosting the VMA, Grammy and Movie Award pre-shows, to bringing the news to "Total Request Live" (MTV's live, flagship program), she's interviewed just about every music artist on the charts. SuChin has also covered the aftermath of September 11th, contributed segments on Muslim American Women, reported on the aftermath of the Tsunami from Thailand and has filed stories from New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. From the presidential elections to debates on women's rights, the war in Iraq and protests over affirmative action, SuChin has been traveling the world to cover the issues that affect young people the most. She is most proud of her work as producer and host of MTV's documentary series "My Life Translated" about the lives of first generation Americans juggling two cultural identities. SuChin was born in Seoul, Korea and moved to California at the age of 5. She graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
George Oliphant
George Oliphant hosts LX.TV's "1ST/LOOK" NYC segments.
A native of Steamboat Springs, CO, George arrived in NYC as a touring children’s theatre actor out of the George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick, NJ. Then for 3 years, he was the host for MTV’s college offspring MTVU, scouring college campuses looking for the best musicians, athletes, gamers, and activists. Following his "graduation" from MTVU, George became the host of MHD, MTV’s first high definition music channel from way up in the mountains of Vail. He is now excited to share with his fellow New Yorkers through LX.TV all the new what, where and how this great city has to offer.

Wendy Fentress
Wendy Fentress hosts LX.TV's "1ST/LOOK" kids, escapes and wellness segments in NYC.
Wendy started off her hosting career as a VJ on Burly Bear Television, a network specifically for colleges around the U.S. She then went on to host shows for The Travel Channel, VH1, and was the Music and Entertainment reporter for the Metro Channel's "New York Central." She has also appeared in "Sex And The City" and in the cult classic film "Wet Hot American Summer." In addition to LX.TV, she currently appears as a pundit on this season's "Filter" on the G4 network. Wendy currently lives in New York City and the Hamptons with her husband and 2 kids.
Favorite New York soirée: "Mr. Chow’s surrounded by rappers and celebrities."
Jonathan Redford hosts LX.TV's "1ST/LOOK" LA segments.
In addition to LX.TV, Jonathan’s hosting talents can be seen on Starz Entertainment as their On Demand Host, on CBS.com’s "Greek to Chic" and DirecTV’s "CD:USA." As an actor, he has appeared on numerous television shows including "Smith," "Navy N.C.I.S.," "C.S.I.," "Ally McBeal," "Jack and Bobby" and "The Bold and the Beautiful." He appeared in the workshop and two subsequent runs of the new hit musical "Rock of Ages." A musician at heart, Jonathan is currently recording his first album. Born and raised in Southern California, Jonathan calls LA home.
Favorite LA ritual: "Sunday morning at the Santa Monica Farmer’s Market."
Shira Lazar hosts LX.TV's "1ST/LOOK" LA segments.
A native of Montréal, Shira grew up speaking both English and French. Since moving to LA, Shira has developed her on-air persona as a reporter on Court TV’s entertainment show, "Hollywood Heat," and as the host of "Portable Vinyl," the all music channel on Verizon VCAST in addition to LX.TV. The multi-talented Ms. Lazar also writes for The Hollywood Reporter’s "About Town" page and is a West Coast correspondent for NYC based music magazine, Planet Verge.

Pedro Andrade
Pedro Andrade hosts NYC nightlife for LX.TV's "1ST/LOOK."
Born in Brazil, Pedro has been acting and modeling since he was 7 years old. While in Brazil, Pedro studied journalism and acting at Univercidade in Rio De Janeiro, but still found time to be a VJ at MTV Brasil, hosting fashion and style segments and specials. Four years ago, Pedro moved to New York City and since has been featured in national ad campaigns for Joe Boxer, Baby Phat, Target and Sony in the pages of GQ and V Man.

Caryn Greenhut
Caryn Greenhut hosts LA style, shopping and wellness for LX.TV's "1ST/LOOK."
Caryn Greenhut grew up in New York City, a city-chick at heart, and graduated from Northwestern University as a theatre major. From Chicago she moved west to pursue a career in acting. She landed numerous roles in television including a pilot on USA, a recurring role on the WB’s "Jack and Jill" and Fox's "That 70's Show." She worked on several movies including "What Women Want," "The First 20 Million is the Hardest," "Stateside," "Loveless in LA" and "Guigley". Recently, she has begun pursuing a Masters degree in psychology. Caryn is a total "beauty and clothes whore" keeping up with the latest trends in fashion and beauty.

Sara Gore
Sara Gore hosts LX.TV's "1ST/LOOK" food and nightlife segments in NYC.
Sara is an accomplished chef and actor. After graduating high school early, Sara was awarded the Dean's Scholarship for academic achievement at Manhattan Marymount College where she was accepted into the Theater Arts program and went on to graduate summa cum laude as a Communication Major with a Media Studies concentration and a Theater Minor. But her acting career has never stopped her from becoming a passionate "foodie" as well as a budding thespian. A former sous chef in a Manhattan French restaurant, Sara has worked as a caterer, a private cooking instructor, and a personal chef.

Yaniece Piper Thomas
Yaniece Piper Thomas hosts LA style and shopping on LX.TV's "1ST/LOOK."
Yaniece is a successful stylist and fashion designer. She currently works with Tyra Banks on "The Tyra Banks Show" and "America’s Next Top Model," in addition to styling various commercial and production shoots. A former model and commercial actress, Yaniece was half of the designing duo behind the Los Angeles based label Liya Cynamone. Yaniece lives and works in Los Angeles.
Favorite LA night out: "A night of salsa at El Floridita."
Cecile Raubenheimer
Cecile Raubenheimer hosts LX.TV's "1ST/LOOK" shopping and style segments in NYC.
During a childhood that spanned the globe from her native South Africa to London to Malaysia to Israel to Greenwich, CT and finally to her adopted hometown of NYC, Cecile has been involved in acting and performing her whole life. Cecile's training combined with her zest for dancing, singing in the shower, going out for a great cocktail, finding rare and special books, jewelry and handbags and finding cute little boutiques and new designers, makes her well suited for meeting New York's top designers and exploring new shopping venues.
